The Woman Behind Rock Clarity

My path to becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist was shaped by a deep belief that people are more than the problems they are facing. We are shaped by our relationships, our experiences, our communities, the stories we have been told about ourselves, and the stories we have learned to tell ourselves.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Martin’s University before continuing my education at Pacific Lutheran University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-accredited program. Through my education and clinical training, I developed a strong appreciation for systemic and relational approaches to therapy and the ways our relationships can influence how we understand ourselves and move through the world.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), I take an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and the Gottman Method, thoughtfully incorporating different perspectives and interventions based on the needs, goals, and experiences of each client.

Narrative Therapy particularly informs the way I understand the therapeutic process. I believe people are not defined by the challenges they face, and that there is value in exploring the stories we have inherited, the meanings we have assigned to our experiences, and the possibilities that emerge when we begin viewing our lives through a different lens.

My role is not to tell you who you should be or what choices you should make. I am here to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect, to help you identify patterns, reconnect with your strengths, understand your relationships, and explore possibilities for the life you want to create.

Rock Clarity Mental Healthcare was created from that belief: that clarity does not mean having every answer. Sometimes, clarity begins when we have the space to understand our story, make sense of our relationships, and discover what becomes possible when we see ourselves differently.

Your story matters. Your relationships matter. And so does the life you are building.
